The 2016 Volunteers in Mission (VIM) team is preparing for their medical mission trip to Uganda in Sept/October. As part of that preparation, the trip's co-leader, Michelle Ebert, traveled to Uganda with the Founder of the partner organization, Guiding Light Orphans, at the end of June. The result was a "sneak peek" slideshow of what the team may encounter during their travels. We hope that what you see gets you
as excited to support our mission, as we are to go!

Please click here to see the slideshow that was presented during the
Ice Cream Social Fundraiser on Saturday, July 23, 2016.

Please allow a few seconds for the presentation to fully load.
Use your left and right arrow keys to advance back and forth between the slides. Enjoy!

Click here to see the girls at Budongo School singing Hosanna - you can't help but smile and find yourself singing this all day afterwards! Click here to see the song of thanks following the SUMC Days for Girls kit distribution! Joyful tears for this humbling experience.
The busy bustle in the capital of Kampala can be seen here and here. Lots of traffic circles instead of stop lights makes for the continuous movement of people! We came through again on market day and it was like driving through a sea of people. ( I was too busy soaking it all in to video!)
Not your everyday sights! Click here and here and here for some little snippets of fun along the journey.

The team will post more from their medical mission work and construction projects in October once they return from their trip!
