Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.

Simsbury United Methodist Church's United Methodist Women's Rachel Circle
Over the years we have had many interesting speakers talk about the Mormon religion, Volunteers in Mission programs, book reviews and hobbies.  We have also enjoyed watching and discussing entertaining and informative films such as "Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs. Excursions are taken to interesting places around Connecticut such as the Science Museum, Stanley Whitman House and Fidelco (an organization that provides seeing-eye dogs.)

Once a year we prepare and serve a meal at South Park in Hartford, a homeless shelter. Our big ongoing project is making the bibs for children when they are baptized at the church.
